Registration and costs

APPLICATION

In order to apply for the course, which will be held from 18 to 20 November 2024, please click here and insert your application as requested.

The deadline for the application is 4 November 2024.

Minimum number of participants: 10

Maximum number of participants: 30

Admission to the course follows a first-come, first-served basis.

If the minimum number participants is reached, the course will start as planned. If not, the course will  be postponed or cancelled. 

This communication will be sent to participants by 6 November 2024, along with detailed instructions on how to proceed with the payment of the registration fee.

If necessary, the Direction may modify the programme, the Faculty and the course teaching method.

In case of proven and serious circumstances preventing from participating to the course, the participant has got two options:

1)To obtain the refund of the registration fee, provided that the subject student  has duly informed the course staff by 8 November 2024.

2)To keep on hold the registration fee, assuming the relevant amount is used for the following course session. In line with the above, this option is viable, as long as the course staff has been properly informed, again by 8 November 2024.

Politecnico di Milano is only liable for the refund of the registration fees already honored. 

The Institution/Company is allowed to replace a participant with another employee before the course starts, assuming the course staff has been promptly informed accordingly.

REGISTRATION FEE

€ 2.500 (full registration fee)

€ 1.200 (PhD students)

Do to the DPR 642/26.10.1972, the payment of the stamp duty of € 2 per registration is due. In the case of multiple registrations, if you ask for a single invoice you will only pay 2€ stamp duty, if you ask for several invoices, you will pay 2€ stamp duty for each invoice requested.

VAT is not applicable to the registration fees due to art. 10 DPR 633/26.10.72 and subsequent modifications.

PhD students should attach to the online application form the official certificate of enrollment in the phd program of their university, for the current year

SCHOLARSHIP

The European Safety and Reliability Association (ESRA) supports the course with two scholarships to be awarded to PhD students. Scholarships will be assigned considering the affinity of the research to the topics of the course, the quality of the CV and the number and impact of publications in the field.
